Allegra Network Launches On-Line Order Capability

Allegra Network (formerly American Speedy Printing Centers, Inc.) today launched their on-line ordering program, AllegraDirect. The ordering module was designed to help companies order their printing and communications needs with the convenience and technology of the Internet.

AllegraDirect was custom-built to make it more convenient for print customers to order, reorder, proof their pieces and request quotes from the center. Clients can jump on-line to view their order history, transfer files, make changes to items with editable text fields, and place orders.

"We looked at the solutions already out there," commented Executive Vice President Jay Rosen, "and we found two common problems. First, commercial solutions went far beyond the functionality our centers and their clients need, often making them hard for people to use. And second, the commercial products were extremely expensive. AllegraDirect is easy to use, easy to get up and running with, and costs our centers much less in both the short and the long run."
